Freshman
I’m sitting in the room of my club advisor while he teaches his freshman english class. They’re working on sentence structure.
It’s cute. I wish my A.P. English teacher taught us about capitalization and punctuation instead of independent clauses, demonstrative adjectives, and ambitransitive verbs.
Conversations with mother
Yesterday:
Me: Should I watch House, or NCIS when I get home tomorrow?
Mother: NCIS, so that you can watch House with the rest of your family, like always.
Me: OKAY MOMMY, WHAT A GOOD IDEA.
Today (upon arriving home from a movie):
Me: *hears TV* Are you watching NCIS? because If you are, I don't want to hear what happens.
Mom: No, we're watching House.
Me: >.<
PROOF THAT I AM NOT APPRECIATED.
